Festivals, concerts, world tours… 2020 will be marked by the must-go musical events in Bluesock cities. Another excuse to get away and explore these destinations!

Next year, Lisbon will cater for all tastes. Famous artists such as Madonna, Melanie Martinez, James Arthur, Keane, Devendra Banhart, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Metronomy, Bon Iver, The 1975, Ash, Harry Styles, Kiss, Lenny Kravitz or Iron Maiden will perform in the Portuguese capital.

Festival proposals are equally appealing. The famous NOS Alive will welcome some of the biggest artists of the moment, such as Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, alt-J or Hobo Johnson.

Other options, such as the VOA Heavy Rock, will allow you to enjoy live performances of famous bands such as System of a Down, Korn or Bring Me The Horizon.

Obviously, Madrid will share a few of these artists with Lisbon, including Melanie Martinez, James Arthur, Keane, The 1975, Bon Iver, Nick Cave or Harry Styles. The Spanish capital will also offer other key events such as concerts of Noa, Kaiser Chiefs, Halsey, Johnas Brothers, Palaye Royale, Maluma or Ozzy Osbourne.

The headliners of festivals like MadCool were already announced and include Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Pixies, Jaime Cullum, Tove Lo or Twenty One Pilots.

Other renown festivals will once again stand out with their line-up, such as the DCODE Festival or the “Noches del Botánico”.

For its part, Porto will continue to offer must-go events such as the NOS Primavera Sound, which already received its first confirmation from the American indie rock band, Pavement.

In addition to the annual festivals, the city on the Douro’s cultural scene will include the lively agenda of venues such as the Coliseu do Porto, the Casa da Música or the Hard Club, located just a few steps from Bluesock Hostels Porto.
